A couple of storks live one kilometer from our village on the other side of the highway. They have a nest on a pole there. They arrived two weeks ago, and then they were covered with snow and cold.
Storks are birds of prey, in the sense that they feed on live food: frogs, fish, shellfish, and anything else they can catch. But the main food is frogs, which cannot be found now.
The stork didn't realize that I was throwing food at him, unfortunately. But he flew to look for another body of water, where it is more likely to find frogs in the water. There are definitely none in our stream.
I'm going to Moscow today for the Monsterium exotic plant fair. I'll see what's interesting and see my friends.
