I was in the pine forests near Nizhny Novgorod, in Karelia, beyond the Arctic Circle on the White Sea coast. Now I've looked at the forest near Lake Seliger.
They are all very similar: the same pines, moss and lichens underfoot, no undergrowth. It is spacious, bright and beautiful. But it is quite monotonous in terms of flora and fauna. But it's still interesting, because I rarely go there.
The source of the Volga River was pleasantly surprised by the views and well-groomed. It's a good place. But 30km along the dirt grater of the road to it is a special competition. I feel sorry for the car. This place is located about 60 km from the city of Ostashkov and 30 km from the Catherine settlement, where we settled.
