If it were winter now, the birds wouldn't have any problems. Wintering birds are able to forage in heavy snow conditions.
The problem is that migratory birds have already returned, which feed on insects or cannot get food from under the snow.
Thrushes can be fed fruits and berries, they eat apples and any frozen berries from the store well.
Starlings can be sprinkled with oatmeal.
Grain-eating birds such as finches can use raw seeds, millet, and oats.
Raw unsalted pork fat or fat is also suitable.
I hope that the birds will survive until the thaw. They need to hold out for about another week.
