Almost all the ponds in the area are shallow. Silva finds them and immediately goes for a splash. But this pond has a deep part, and the shore is uncomfortable for getting in the water. Silva doesn't know it very well yet.
Having reached the pond, she landed right in the water and felt no bottom under her feet. She got out onto some fallen branches and spent a long time deciding whether or not to get in the water again, trying to figure out how deep it is. In the end she decided to go for it and felt no bottom again.
She didn't bother giving it a third try and considered herself well washed.

Question: Lately, the Internet has seen an rise in opposition to zoos and circuses. I can understand circuses, but what's so bad about zoos? I'd like to hear your opinion, as someone connected to the Moscow Zoo in one way or another.
Update: Yes, I originally meant excluding petting and travelling zoos. What a debate you guys have started here!
Answer:
In short, good zoos are good, and bad zoos are bad. Don't go to bad zoos.
Alexander Gatilov has a whole lecture on this very topic. We will make a detailed video about it in the near future.
I personally love the Moscow Zoo. Besides that, I've only been to the zoo in Ivanovsk, which desperately needs more space. My friends have forbidden me to go to the zoo of St. Petersburg, as the poor conditions the animals are kept in there would upset me.
There will be more details in Gatilov's lecture.
