We had a snowfall in the morning, and by two o'clock in the afternoon, both today's snow and the day before yesterday's snow had melted.
But the plus temperature and lack of snow did not impress the bluebirds, who simply swept away all the food that I laid out for them today.
The three birds I released are the ones that have been bumping into the window panes over the past week. It's very strange, there were almost no such incidents in winter, but then there was a batch. But they are all fine, all ringed and released.
