You can't just go ahead and peel the skin off a molting lizard! It's a special kind of ASMR when you can unbox your old pet and get a whole new and fresh one.
Usually, giant geckos molt on their own without me noticing. But this one was at the very beginning of its molt and didn't have time to run away from me! I'm joking, they never run away.
And the family of magpies has been keeping our yard clean since early spring. I don't really mind, they take all the edible waste and the leftovers from the rats and mice that the owls didn't finish. The magpies are the cleaners of our area.
