And Yuinya has very bad and sad news. He was found to have a large tumor in the place where the kidneys are. At the beginning of the summer there was nothing there, and now the neoplasm is so large that it presses on the internal organs. There is practically no chance that Yui will survive the operation. He was prescribed painkillers. Now he is quite cheerful, but he does not eat normally, so I feed him manually. He's already in his 13th year, which is a lot for an little owl. When pets get sick and go away from old age, it is understandable and inevitable, but it is still very painful and hard. When Yui begins to suffer from pain due to the tumor, I will make a decision about euthanasia. He doesn't need any extra torment.
