I'm not a Christian believer and I don't practice any religion at all. I can't call myself an atheist. I may be an agnostic.
But the bell ringing of the Orthodox bells makes me goosebumps, I really like to listen and feel these sounds. The video and audio are certainly not the same. You can't completely convey the atmosphere.
The Holy Dormition Cathedral - an Orthodox church, was founded in 1101 at the behest of Grand Duke Vladimir Monomakh of Russia, was destroyed, new constructions, was completely completed in 1772.
We happened to be on the territory, just coming for a walk around the city of Smolensk. And they also happened to catch the wedding of a young couple in the cathedral, in honor of which the bells were sounded.
The ringer is a very young guy, Masha then came up to him and found out that he was 16 years old, he learned ringing himself, then, in order to get access to the cathedral bells, he completed special training at the academy and passed exams.
For me, a very impressive moment and story amid a simple walk.
