Today is our video day with non-my birds. I met this barn owl a week ago when I picked it up from Alexander Gatilov and handed it to our subscriber, who helped the owl get to the veterinarian Maria Markina. Now she has a barn owl on overexposure and treatment, her fate can be traced on the @RedTabby channel, a couple of videos about this owl have already been released there.
The barn owl was given away for family reasons, no longer being able to support her. Thank you very much to her owners for adequately assessing their strengths and capabilities, and handing over the owl to specialists.
I don't really like barn owls, or rather, I don't consider them as owls that I would like to keep, because of their creepy loud vocalization at night (more precisely, the heart-rending creeping cries of banshees) and bad temper. Barn owls are very pugnacious and aggressive.
But it was this bird that I liked with its grimy face and meekness of gaze. I would like to take her for maintenance, but the warm aviary has not been built yet. Maria will put the owl in safe hands if the owl does not want to go wild and be an adequate free bird. And she doesn't want to yet.
Well, we'll wait together for news about her.
