A huge growth on the head of a chickadee is most likely avian smallpox. It's a viral disease, like chickenpox in humans. It usually goes away by itself, the bird acquires immunity after the disease.
I saw a bluebird with a white ring twice in the fall. The first time with smallpox growths, and the second time the growths were almost invisible. This time, there are no traces of the disease on the video at all.
I hope that this sick chickadee will recover.
I've already told you about the wet windows in the flower shop. First, we will make water heating in the apartment. I'll see how it affects the windows. If it doesn't help, then we will change the double-glazed windows in the summer.
It doesn't bother me that the windows are wet, and the plants like it. But I'm worried that the window sills and walls will start to rot.
