You can read more about the Victory Train project here poyezd-pobedy....
There, on the website, you can find out about the train route, the schedule of excursions that you can sign up for.
Our dear guide Varvara told us that you can come to the tour without an appointment, waiting for the group in a live queue.
Artyom and I were invited to the tour by Elizaveta Solovyova from the press service of the Government of the Smolensk region. I am very grateful for the invitation, as I did not know about the event and did not know about this museum. At the same time, I have seen the footage from the exhibition for a long time and really wanted to visit this place, but I did not know that this was a real train! And I didn't know that I was going to get there. Until the very first step in the museum carriage, I did not expect what I would see.
The entire train route takes about half an hour. It feels much longer.
Everyone will have their own personal perception and understanding of what they will see. I had awe, pain, guilt, hope, compassion, horror at what some people are capable of, admiration at what generosity and self-sacrifice other people are capable of. Pride, a desire to help and fix everything. Probably, if I hadn't been busy filming and wanting to show what I saw, I would have just been crying in a corner on a bench in the last car.
Yesterday, I posted a short post on our Telegram channel, where a large number of people managed to express their opinions. t.me/nika_zubra The interface is more convenient for communication here.
Special admiration and gratitude to the volunteer guys who conducted the excursions, explained everything, helped, met and escorted. It was the first time I learned about the "Movement of the First" and I liked the idea. Well done, it's very cool and pleasant! I sincerely wish you good luck in your development!
And the railway station of the city of Vyazma pleasantly surprised me. I was there as a child, when everything was in decline and ruin. And now I'm in a nice airy marshmallow, clean and cozy. I am very happy with how everything has been put in order. It is already taken for granted, but I do not stop paying attention to such changes around me.
Probably, this video should have been released on February 23, Defender of the Fatherland Day, but it's better now, since many are waiting for details. And I congratulate our Defenders on the Holiday in advance!
