Dasha, when she was visiting me, felt in the stomach of the Pancake not only butterflies, but also some hard suspicious lump. We decided to check what it is and how dangerous it is. We made an appointment at the clinic. According to the plan, it was necessary to do an ultrasound, X-ray and take the material for a biopsy. There are a lot of patients in the clinic, the ultrasound specialist was busy, so Dasha did everything herself, asking to borrow the device from a cardiologist. They did an X-ray, poked the Pancake with needles, taking the contents for analysis. When the Pancake was already packed in a carrier and bag, the UZI looked in and asked to see the inner world of the dragon again. For a veterinarian, this is an experience and a rare opportunity, when all the patients in the clinic are mostly fluffy cats and dogs. We unpacked the Pancakes and did an encore ultrasound, breaking the ovation. At the same time, it was possible to compare the image quality of two different ultrasound machines.
The results of the tests were ready in the evening.
Blinetz developed an ovarian cyst. No bacterial infection, no cancer. Removal is recommended, but it is not urgent. Therefore, we decided to do the removal at the end of May, after Dasha's trip to St. Petersburg.
