Artem is not cold enough in St. Petersburg, so he suggested a quick trip to Murmansk and back. Only some 2200 km per trip. The weather forecast promises that it will not be very cold, about -25°C. In Moscow now the same temperature. But I bought myself warm boots and gloves!
Owl funny, she and-30°C is normal, no fur boots are not necessary, and I freeze immediately and thoroughly. Therefore, a trip to the North in winter is a fear and horror for me. From St. Petersburg, we are going to Murmansk to see the Arctic Circle and snow. Suddenly the snow there is some other, and not as we have at home.
I still wonder why we are going there, and not in the opposite direction to the South. But it is interesting to go, though exciting.
On the trip, I took only these things, a backpack with all sorts of gadgets and spare socks-underpants, a thermos of coffee, a couple of packs of pistachios and what I put on myself. Let's see how it goes.
