Kristina Grigorieva, head of the House of the Hare Rehabilitation Center @Suprememazay, gave me another video about the work of volunteers to save the Black Sea coast and its fauna from an oil spill from wrecked tankers.
Personally, I am amazed by the quality, level of work and provision of the "field" veterinary headquarters for the acceptance and treatment of birds washed of fuel oil.
Thank you very much to the veterinarians, other specialists and volunteers who have created and supported all this. It's a lot of hard work and an illustration of how people can come together and do good.
According to this link t.me/+kkxH8Z8y... you can join a group for volunteers, where you can find all the necessary information in the sections and help in some way or just monitor the situation.
After passing through the "field" hospital, which you can see on the video, the birds leave for places of further rehabilitation, where they will be treated for intoxication, restore the fatty coating on the plumage, or even shed before release.
One of these places is the small Stavropol Pelican Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, which has already received more than 600 birds, many of which were in serious condition. Colleagues and volunteers from other centers will also go there soon. We will definitely make a video continuation of this story.
Fundraising to help birds is now officially underway here wall-17...

The collected funds will be transferred to the Pelican Rehabilitation Center.
